I'm Chika Brown — founder of Chika Brown Events. A veteran, mentor, and woman of faith, I believe excellence lives in both service and design. My passion is creating experiences that make people feel valued, inspired, and genuinely cared for.
Years of military leadership taught me discipline, adaptability, and attention to detail; a love of fashion and visual design taught me to craft environments that engage and inspire. Together with my husband James, who supports our operations, we've grown from transforming spaces and hosting celebrations into a full event-planning brand that has served hundreds.
My years as a Buyer and General Manager in retail sharpened how I lead teams, elevate the guest experience, and execute with precision. Overseeing visual merchandising and store design taught me to transform a space into a thoughtfully crafted environment — one that draws the eye, welcomes every guest, and brings a vision beautifully to life.
